Things you can do to help prevent child abuse:

  1. Report suspected child abuse and encourage others in your social circle to do the same;
  2. Write letters to your local prosecuting attorney and law enforcement officials encouraging them to prosecute crimes against children;
  3. Learn as much about child abuse and child abuse prevention as you can and share that information with folks you know;
  4. Don't be afraid to take a stand. Kids need the help of all adults in their communities. (It does take a village.)
  5. Pray for kids.
